Who you are agreeing with
Papyr is published by TECHNINN SOLUTIONS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş., İnkılap Mah. Sokullu Cad. No:5 Ümraniye / İstanbul, Türkiye ("we"). By installing or using Papyr you agree to Apple's standard licence and to these additional terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Papyr is, and is not
Papyr converts PDF files into editable Word documents, and Word files and images into PDFs, using conversion and text recognition that run on your phone.
Conversion is a best effort. Text and basic formatting are preserved; complex layouts are approximate, and recognised text from scanned pages can contain mistakes. The app shows you the real result before you export it. Check anything important — a contract, a form, a figure — against the original.
Free and Pro
- Converting is free without limit. Exporting a converted Word file is free once every seven days. Word → PDF and single image → PDF are always free.
- Papyr Pro is a one-time purchase that removes the weekly limit and adds batch conversion, several images in one PDF, and plain-text and RTF export.
- Pro is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device that uses it. Family Sharing applies where Apple offers it.
The price is shown in the App Store before you buy and includes applicable taxes. Apple bills you; we never see your payment details. We may change the price of Pro for future buyers; a purchase you have already made is not affected. There is no subscription, no trial and no automatic charge.
Refunds
Refunds are decided by Apple under its rules. The steps are on the Support page. If Apple refuses a refund and you think that is unfair, write to us and we will look into it.
Your documents
Everything Papyr reads or produces stays on your device and belongs to you. We do not receive it, and we claim no rights over it. Do not use Papyr on documents you are not allowed to copy.
Changes to the app
We may change, improve or discontinue features, and may stop supporting older operating systems, with notice in the app where practical. If we ever remove something Pro paid for, we will offer an equivalent.
Warranty and liability
Papyr is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by an inaccurate conversion. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded, including the rights of consumers in the EU, the UK and Türkiye.
Governing law
These additional terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and disputes go to the courts of İstanbul, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence. Where Apple's standard licence and these terms differ, Apple's licence prevails.
