What converts well, and what does not
Digital PDFs — text created on a computer — convert with text, headings, lists, columns and ruled tables intact; images are placed where they were. Scanned PDFs are recognised on your phone; the result depends on scan quality, and the app marks pages with low confidence. Complex forms and heavily designed layouts come out approximate. In every case the result screen shows the real Word file before you export it.
The free week and Pro
Converting and previewing are free without limit. Exporting a Word file is free once every seven days; the Home screen always shows where you stand. Word → PDF and single image → PDF are free with no limit. Papyr Pro ($6.99, one-time, Family Sharing) removes the weekly limit and adds batch conversion, several images in one PDF and plain-text/RTF export. Restore it on a new phone from Settings › Restore purchase.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple: open reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID you bought with, find Papyr Pro and choose "Request a refund". If Apple refuses and you think that is unfair, write to us with the case number and we will look into it.
Privacy
The short version: nothing you convert leaves your phone. The full Privacy Policy lists the two small exceptions (the purchase processor and an anonymous usage counter you can switch off).
Deleting your data
Deleting the app deletes everything it kept: history, settings, temporary files. There is nothing on our side to delete, except the anonymous purchase record at RevenueCat that lets you restore Pro — write to us if you want that removed too.
